Artist Bio followed by CV for Marie Kazalia

I am an American artist, born in Toledo, Ohio, where from the early age of 8 years old I began participating in art classes for children at the Toledo Museum of Art, continuing there into my teenage years. Each weekend, hours before art class, my father dropped me at the museum where I wandered alone studying and memorizing the enormous, to me, entire museum layout and many of the art objects and paintings on display.

Later I moved to San Francisco to study fine art studio practice at the California College of Arts, where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Seeking new inspiration, I traveled and lived as an expatriate in Japan, India, and China, with shorter stays up to one month in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Dubai, Bahrain, Macau, Germany, France, England, the Netherlands, and Mexico. Experiences on my travels have had strong influence on my color palette choices in my paintings, and in my use of Asemic writing.

I know you are focusing on art and painting, but I am trying to acquire copies of your poetry pubs, Defect Cult, Fulva Flava and Clara Venus. We archive small press pubs and would very much like to have copies of these in our collection. Thanks.
